Diyar Private Academy Dibba is committed to provide a quality inclusive education to all Students of Determination. The vision of the school is to ensure every child, regardless of individual differences and special educational needs, experiences learning, loves school and makes great progress in a common learning environment with minimal intervention.
The school team believes children need to control their own learning to develop a real love for learning. By engaging our students in inspiring, hands-on, critical thinking and problem-solving activities, we build their independence and confidence and enable them to become resilient, life-long learners, we see our students growing into adaptable young adults capable of embracing the challenges of the future, leading and influencing others.
The Achievement Centre (ACe) is a department which physically represents the ethos of inclusivity in the areas of wellbeing, behavior modification, special education, gifted and talented and English as an additional language.Wellbeing- Three school Counselors and a support counselor look after the social and emotional welfare of our students. They run proactive Strategy programs and Interventions at different levels which involve all stakeholders:
Students of Determination (SOD) - The school accepts students who have needs of ASD, ADHD, Language Speech and Language Communication, Physical Disabilities, and comorbidity where needs can be catered for. Student progress is tracked through Individual Educational Plans and monitored on an IEP Tracker.
Teachers are supported with resources and strategies to help students with learning difficulties to access academic targets on personalized learning programs. One to one and group sessions for relationship building are facilitated by School Counselors.
